1. What This Policy Covers
This policy lists the cookies SiteRoster actually uses on siteroster.co.uk, and why. We keep this list short on purpose — we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Essential Cookies
SiteRoster uses a first-party authentication cookie (set by our database provider, Supabase) to keep you logged in as you move between pages, and to let the site recognise contractor, employer and admin accounts. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function — without it, you'd be logged out on every page load.
3. Payment Cookies
When a Featured contractor upgrade or employer subscription checkout is in progress, our payment processor, Stripe, may set its own cookies during that checkout flow to process the payment securely. These are only present while you're actively completing a payment.
4. Analytics
SiteRoster uses Plausible for website analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. No cookie consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.
5. No Advertising Cookies
SiteRoster does not run advertising, does not use third-party ad-tracking cookies, and does not sell data to advertisers.
6. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking the essential authentication cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to SiteRoster.
